Africa for Africa Women's Summits

In a world where leadership is often loud, fast, and fleeting, Bea Hackula stands apart — steady, intentional, and profoundly committed to transforming the economic destiny of African women. As the visionary force behind Africa for Africa Women (A4AW), Bea has become a symbol of unity, hope, and actionable empowerment across the continent and its global diaspora.

“Greetings and welcome to Africa for Africa Women’s Conference, home to African women from across Africa and the diaspora; women with a common mission to build the Africa we want as a united force.”

This is the heartbeat of Bea’s work — a warm invitation paired with a powerful expectation: that African women deserve not only a seat at the table but the ability to build new tables entirely.

The Power Behind the Vision

At the center of Bea Hackula’s life’s work is a clear vision:

“United Women of Africa towards sustainable economic empowerment.”

This is not a slogan. It is a blueprint for a continent rising from within — led by its women.

Grounded in the UN Sustainable Development Goals and the transformative ambitions of AU Agenda 2063, Bea’s mission is both urgent and timeless:

  • To eradicate poverty through real, measurable economic empowerment
  • To strengthen intra-continental trade and investment among women
  • To catalyze new business ventures for women and youth
  • To build capacity, skills, and leadership that endure for generations

Her leadership is both strategic and deeply human. “No task is too small or too big for us,” she insists. This is the essence of A4AW — a movement built on mentorship, partnership, and the belief that when women rise, entire communities rise with them.

She is known for her bold, geometric paintings and has gained international recognition, including being the first woman and African artist to be featured in the BMW Art Car Collection in 1991. She continues to pass on her cultural heritage by teaching traditional painting and beadwork to younger generations at a school she founded.

Africa for Africa Women (A4AW) proudly announces the 2025 edition of the Pan African Women Empowerment Summit (PAWES), scheduled to take place from 27–29 November 2025 in Cape Town. This landmark gathering will bring together prominent women leaders, policymakers, innovators, entrepreneurs, and community builders from across the African continent and the global diaspora.

Under this year’s resonant theme — “This is Africa, Where Wealth Resides… A Rising Star!” — PAWES 2025 repositions African women as central architects of Africa’s economic, cultural, and leadership renaissance. The Summit will unpack Africa’s intrinsic wealth: its people, its ideas, its creativity, and the unstoppable rise of women shaping the continent’s future.
